Get an Eyeful of London
As the newest attraction that has altered the landscape and skyline of London forever, The London Eye has visitors from all over the world marveling at the largest Ferris wheel in all of Europe. Riding the behemoth is an activity to remember and you’ll get to see the giant city in a way that will change the way you see the great city. Particularly impressive are the nighttime views, were you can see 25 miles in every direction, weather permitting. You will ride in a capsule bearing up to 25 visitors at a time and you will be transported 135 meters over the city in a ride that gracefully takes its time to complete a rotation. A complete ride should last around thirty minutes. Each revolution will see nearly 800 passengers at a time.
The Eye is considered an eyesore to some, but no one can dispute its draw, as millions of visitors each year hop aboard the slow moving car to get a birds eye view of the great city. The cars never stop, but the cars move slowly enough that while the cars are at ground level, you can simple walk on and off as the car passes. David Marks and Julia Barfield were the master architects that designed the wonder and my all accounts will remain hugely popular well into the future.
This monstrous attraction is but one of the many interesting sites that draw millions of visitors each year, and will continue to do so into the foreseeable future. In order to take in all the magnificent attraction London has to offer, one must schedule an extended stay in the magical city. For those that stay in a holiday apartment London will feel like a second home. To save money it is advisable to rent one of the many luxury central London apartments to cut down on transport expenses.
